Far over on the eastern cost of the Aegean Sea are the Dodecanese Islands. The word Dodecanese means ‘twelve islands’ in Greek and it clearly explains the fact that there is a chain of twelve islands. The most historically important and well-known is Rhodes Island. Of the others, Kos and Patmos are historically more important; the remaining nine are Astipalea, Kalimnos, Karpathos, Kasos, Leros, Nisyros, Symi, Tilos and Kastelorizo.

  • On first day you can start sailing from Rhodes Island which has endless sandy beaches blessed with sunshine all through the year and that makes it the most popular one among all the group of islands. The monastery of the Archangel Michael Panormitis on the southwest coast is the famous landmark on this island. The scenic beauty of the island will make you spend a whole day here.
  • Next day cruise to the tiny, remote island, Kastelorizo that consists of only a few rocky inlets and no beaches here. With the Knights of St John Castle situated above the quay, it has become one of the most picturesque harbors in the Dodecanese. The same day try to cover Tilos that’s not far from this island.
  • On fourth day you will visit Nisyros, having a dormant volcano at the centre and Kos, a small one.
  • Leros is your next destination where you will find small tiny picturesque village and massive castle crowns.
  •  On day 6, first half can be spent in Patmos, having sandy tree-shaded beaches around the island and keep the second half for Kasos.
  •  Astipalea, Kalimnos, Karpathos can be covered in one day and here the itinerary for the yacht charters in Dodecanese islands end and you  have now lots of memories to cherish.
