In terms of beaches, there are plenty to choose, there is a beach in Spetses town in case you don’t want to go to far away places just to take a dip. Some fine beaches are located just 2 kilometers or as far as 12 kilometers from the town center while others are in secluded areas of the island that you will find if you charter a sailing yacht.

This island has a very wide bay where you anchor; even on the shallow part where you can definitely take a long line while the inner harbour is a more secure place to moor. Looking for a space in the inner harbour might be challenging especially during peak season. The Old Harbour of Spetses offers fuel as well as water while there are many tavernas in the neighborhood.
In the northwestern part of the island is also a bay with a small cove that might be an interesting place to anchor. To be exact, Ormos Zoyioryia is a great place in this section of the island where you can enjoy swimming in its crystal clear and cool waters. There are also some tavernas in the area if you wish to go off board and take a look at the town. However, this part of the island is not fine for north or northwestern winds.
