Oceanis 51.1 introduced by Beneteau now available from Athens,Greece, once again offers three positive aspects for three kind of sailors; racer sailor (First), for the cruiser (Comfort) and daysailer (Easy navigation). This targets three kinds of buyers with one hull design and many options that makes everyone feel spoiled and special.

Design & Construction

The “Easy” daysailer comes with a self-tacking jib for charter in Ionion and a minimum of winches to manage lines. The “Comfort” cruiser offers an internal D1 lower shroud. Finally, the “First” racing version provides an additional 35 percent of sail area, set on either a carbon fiber or aluminum spar, and a 9ft 2in keel with a bulb. With this performance package, winches and deck hardware are also upgraded, and a hydraulic backstay and composite wheels are added.

Interior design

The large hull portholes infuse the boat in light and elegantly emphasize the interior design by Nauta Design creating a wonderful interior. A choice of brushed oak or mahogany woodwork increases the opportunities for customization. There are 3 to 5 cabins for the travellers plus a separated skipper cabin.

The navigation station is immense and up against the forward saloon bulkhead. There is also a sideways lounge. This little feature will probably make it the favorite seat in the yacht. Oceanis 51.1 available for charter in Greece now.
